Our school AFL Team 2014, who have made it to the State Final as one of the top 4 teams in the State.

Our AFL Team did not disappoint last Friday, when they played in Round 7 (the final round) of the Primary School Sports Association (PSSA) Knockout against Leeton Public School at Berrambool Oval in Merimbula.

The team had a really big first quarter. It was a whole team effort. The second and third quarters proved more challenging, with the scores becoming increasingly close, however our school ran away with the lead in the final quarter, winning the match 52 to 16.

The team were great hosts on the day, demonstrating our school values and celebrating AFL and the skilful game with a barbeque with the visiting team. The school would like to thank the great support shown by the many peers, staff, grandparents, parents and caregivers who watched the game. The school would also like to thank the local Diggers AFL Club and AFL Australia for the many clinics they offer to our students each year.

Our team is now one of the top 4 Public School AFL teams in the State of NSW. They will now play in the Semi-Finals at Blacktown Olympic Stadium on August 25. The winning teams will then play in the State Final later that day. Good luck team!
