There were smiles all around on Friday June 27th at Merimbula Public School, and they weren't because it was the last day of term, it was Crazy Hair Day! The Student Representative Council (SRC) held a fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis.
Children in Kindergarten to Year 6 were encouraged to wear crazy hair styles and mufti clothing, as well as bring in a gold coin donation, to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis research. It was a successful day, even the staff showed off some crazy styles. Over $350 was raised on the day, with all funds going to Cystic Fibrosis Australia to support research and those living with CF.
