Last updated 11:15 PM on 8 October 2011This week is the 14th anniversary of National Reconciliation Week and the theme is ‘Reconciliation: Let's See It Through'. It is a time to celebrate the rich history and culture of Indigenous Australians. To celebrate, all students at Merimbula Public School will be attending a performance by Indigenous performer Lewis Parter. In the performance this Thursday June 3rd, ‘Murri-Kulcha In Education', Lewis will share some of the stories, dance and culture of his people. The performance will take place in the Jackson Hall. Kindergarten to Year 2 will attend at 9.30am and Years 3 to 6 at 11.30am.
