School Discipline Policy: It is recognised by our school and the Department of Education that good discipline is fundamental to the achievement of students when addressing educational priorities. As a result, our school has a Student Discipline Policy that is followed, in accord with the Department's Behaviour Code, to support students in being the best that they can be. The Behaviour Code can be located at: https://www.det.nsw.edu.au/policies/student_serv/discipline/stu_discip_gov/behaviourcode.pdf

Every student has the right to learn and teachers the right to teach when they are at school. Students must be able to participate in a safe, secure and quality learning environment where they are treated with dignity and respect. Our school expects that students also adhere to our behaviour expectations when travelling on buses to and from school, when representing the school, when on excursions and when at the bus stop.

Our Student Discipline Policy also supports our implementation of the Department's Suspension and Expulsion of School Students policy and procedures, which can be located at: https://detwww.det.nsw.edu.au/policies/media/media/socialinclusiondownloads/leaflet_1.pdf

Thank you for your support in ensuring that we can provide the best possible learning environment for your child.
