Sporting Champions who received medallions.

Many of our talented students were recognised for their sporting achievements in December. Over 60 students from Years 2 to 6 received medallions for making it to Regional or State Championships in the Primary School Sports Association (PSSA) competitions in Athletics, Swimming, Cross Country, Soccer, Softball, Rugby League, AFL and/or Tennis as part of a school or regional team. Some students represented the school and region in more than 4 sports, following success at school and zone carnivals.

The school's AFL team were again recognised for winning the Tony Lockett Shield and being awarded best team in the State in 2014.

The 2015 House Captains, Vice Captains and Junior Vice Captains  were announced at the assembly. They will be inducted into their new positions in Week 3 at the Monday February 9 Assembly that will be held from 1.55-2.55pm in the Jackson Hall (Students being inducted were also listed in the Roll Of Honour sent home with the Week 9 Newsletter).

Our school has a rich history of sporting success and is looking forward to another strong year in sport. The school has entered into the 2015 Boys Soccer, Boys Rugby League, Boys Cricket, AFL, Girls Soccer, Girls Softball, Girls Netball and PSSA Tennis Championships and will be selecting teams when school returns. More information will be shared in coming newsletters.
